A delightful afternoon party supporting Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan!
Join us at the beautiful Edmonds Center for the Arts for a delightful party celebrating all things Gilbert & Sullivan while raising funds to make 2020 our most exciting year yet!
The fun begins at 1pm with a reception featuring delicious hors d’oeuvres and wines provided by Ste Michelle Estates. Chat with our Board of Directors and past performers while perusing an extensive silent auction (featuring, among many other things, a walk-on role in our 2020 production of The Pirates of Penzance!) and hear a little more about what the company has been up to recently.
Then, grab another glass of champagne and head into the theater at 2pm for a special production featuring fabulous performers you’ve seen in our shows over the last several years, as well as a rare opportunity to see both Maestro Bernard Kwiram and Artistic Director Phil Lacey on stage! The details are being kept tightly under wraps, but we can guarantee a hilarious show featuring witty repartee, vocal fireworks, and a loving homage to W.S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan.
Things will wrap up with a quick round of “raise the paddle” and an exciting announcement from Board President Catherine Weatbrook regarding our vision for the future.
Don’t miss this fantastic afternoon spent with The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society and the opportunity to be the first to know about “our next act”, our plans for 2021 and beyond!
